Netrikulator
Waste away the hours that you should be working by forming as many networks as you can with this addictive
puzzle game.
Netrikulator 1.5
Think you've got what it takes to master the mayhem? This frantic puzzle game is sure to put your
networking skills to the test. It's a heart-pumping race against time as you scramble to link two
network nodes with various different colored shapes. Connect the nodes and the completed network
vanishes, then the madness starts all over again. The goal: to form as many complete networks as
possible. But be careful. Too many rash decisions and the grid will quickly fill with dead pieces
that will be nothing but trouble as the game gets faster. Deceptively simple and supremely addictive,
it takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master. Download the demo today.
Netrikulator is available as a free download. This is a trial version of the game which only lets you
play through level 2. The full version which includes unlimited levels of play is only $9.
Watch the video above for a full demonstration of how to play. Use your mouse to move the game pieces around the board. Rotate the piece by pushing the F key to rotate it to the right or the D key
to rotate it to the left. Click the mouse to place the piece down. The space bar and right mouse button will also rotate the piece
to the right.
Your goal is to connect the two network nodes together with pieces of the same color. When you place a piece down if one of the ends
is connected to a node or to another live piece then that piece becomes live. If you place the piece down without connecting it to a node
or another live piece then that piece is dead. Dead pieces can only be removed with the magnet piece. The magnet will remove the piece
you click on and the dead pieces immediately around it. Live pieces can be replaced at any time.
After you complete 3 network connections you will advance to the next level. At level 3 a third pair of nodes (green) is added to the
playing field.
You have a limited amount of time to place your piece down. If you do not place your piece down in time it will be placed for you, either over
the current empty square where your mouse is, or over a random available square if your mouse is currently over a dead piece. Every
time you advance to another level the amount of time given to place your piece gets a little shorter.
The game runs in demo mode until it is registered. Demo mode allows you to only play through level 2.
When the board fills up with dead pieces the game is over.
